Ferrari Icona To Debut This Month – Brand New Exclusive Model

A brand new Ferrari Icona is set to debut this month! According to Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, the official debut will happen within the next upcoming weeks. Everything we know about the new Icona is still unknown, but we do have some basis to go off of.

Sources do mention how the new Icona model will share the same platform as the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta, one of the greatest hypercars ever created according to some. Designed with influence from the 1967 330 P4 Race Car, the upcoming Icona will utilize the same 830 horsepower and 510 torque producing 6.5L V12 that resides in the 812 Competizione. Which makes sense, can any exclusive/legendary Ferrari be made that isn’t fast? Until the official debut, this is all that we currently know. We can still answer the question of “What is a Ferrari Icona?”.

A Ferrari “Icona”, is a special collection of super limited-edition vehicles Ferrari creates that are influenced by previous Ferrari models. Typically, these models have historical significance to the brand. The last Ferrari Iconas released were the Monza SP1 and Monza SP2, a single seater (SP1) and two-seater (SP2) no-roof roadster that used the 812 Superfast’s architecture and powerplant. The SP1 and SP2 together were created with 500 total cars of production and each costing anywhere from $2,500,000 to over $3,000,000 based on specification. This tells us immediately that the new Icona will be fast, very unique, and very limited. The type of limited where customers basically have to be invited by Ferrari to purchase an allocation if they would like. We truly can’t wait for the brand new Icona unveiling this month, we’ll give you all the details upon release!
