Lamborghini’s V12 Vision Gran Turismo Concept is a Spaceship (Lamborghini News)

Lamborghini’s newest concept vehicle looks like it belongs on Mars with Tesla’s Cybertruck! Named the V12 Vision Gran Turismo, Lamborghini debuted their newest spaceship in Monte Carlo, Monaco just before the 2019 FIA Certified Gran Turismo Championships. Rightfully so, the V12 Vision Gran Turismo is straight out of a video game! This newest concept from Lamborghini utilizes single-seater inspiration and is equipped with the same powertrain the Lamborghini Sian.

Lamborghini’s single-seater, jet-inspired concept car for the Gran Turismo video game will be available next Spring powered by the Sian’s 808-hp hybrid powertrain.

The overall design reminds us greatly of the Terzo Millennio concept, with the exception of a few body panels of course. Lamborghini’s famous “Y” design is being used for both the headlights and the taillights. The V12 Vision Gran Turismo’s suspension system is 100% exposed and out in the open while the engine can additionally be seen through glass. A massive rear wing is accompanied by 6 total exhausts, allowing the Sian’s powertrain to exhale as much air as possible.

Interior wise, the cockpit-like interior screams the following words: Futuristic, Fighter Jet, Racing. The entire car is phenomenal and seductive. Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, mentioned “Lamborghini is a very young brand, and this is why we are here today to present our newest virtual vision in the form of a real model, with a highly futuristic and cool design to be enjoyed by the young generation of racing game and super sports car enthusiasts.” regarding the unveiling of the V12 Vision Gran Turismo.

In addition to Stefano Domenicali, Mitja Borkert, Head of Lamborghini Centro Stile, also joins the conversation by commenting. “It is an opportunity for Lamborghini’s design talent to stretch its wings and visualize a car that, like every Lamborghini, not only is a head-turner and the best driving experience, but also mirrors Lamborghini’s push on future technologies, particularly in the arena of lightweight materials and hybridization.” Both Mr. Domenicali and Mr. Borkert express the interests of Lamborghini, keeping their appeal fresh and design-inspired.

The Lamborghini V12 Vision Gran Turismo will be available for Gran Turismo Sport in Spring 2020, though we also have to ask another question. When will it be available in real life? Although a single real model does exist, will Lamborghini produce a few more models for sale? Do you think Lamborghini will make the V12 Vision Gran Turismo real? Let us know what you think!
