Genesis X Concept vehicle revealed by Genesis - Looks Surreal!

The new Genesis X Concept vehicle looks pretty interesting, as to us it sports an electric “muscly” feel. It is of no doubt that we’ve all known for some time that practically every car manufacture has been on the rise to create the next latest and greatest hybrid/electric car, and we love it. Why? Because it is inspiring competition, making every manufacturer pull out all the stops and bring the best that they possibly can. By the looks of it, the Genesis X Concept is potentially here to compete.

The 2 + 2 GT Coupe has a very sleek exterior, while additionally gives us a little bit of an “Aston” kinda vibe. The front encompasses a large v-shaped grill while four headlights bands start on the front and wrap around into the sides, pretty cool design! Most of the excitement does travel into the interior, with a modern-day utopian steampunk style. We say utopian steampunk due to the steering wheel and foot wells of the Genesis X Concept. The steering wheel inside the Genesis X Concept might even remind you a bit of the new De Tomaso P72 gauge cluster. Thoughts? We actually enjoy a vintage/victorian look mixed in with modern day electrics and digital usage.

Genesis’ goal with the Genesis X Concept, as they put it, is to “embrace the power-handling poise and commanding presence of a classic GT” as well as “giving a nod to GT predecessors road/race chassis”. Of course this is only a concept vehicle that Genesis has put together, but it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve scene a concept brought to life! What are your thoughts on the Genesis X Concept and Genesis brining an electric GT into the game?
